Dolores Jean Yeast Peckhaus, 77, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at Baptist Health.

She was a former resident of Lebanon Junction, Ky. and LaPlace.

She was a past member and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in LaPlace.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years Hans W. Peckhaus; three sons, Hans W. Jr. (Diana) of Lafayette, Karl-Heinz (Sherry), of Lake Charles and Kurt-Ulrich (Karen) of LaPlace; two daughters, Heidi Marie Peckhaus of Boca Raton, Fla. and Brigitte Lea Fitts (Jeffrey) of Louisville; sister Linda Carol Yeast Linton (Ronnie) of Bardstown, Ky.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.

Entombment will be at Resthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
