Edward E. Rezach Sr., 91, a WWII Veteran, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

He was a native of Bridgeport, NE and a resident of LaPlace.

Rezach was the beloved husband of Julia Hotard Rezach; father of Edward Rezach Jr. (Pamela), Bobby ‘Whitebean’ Hotard (Barbara) and Edward Pedro Hotard; sSon of the late Josephine Kleich Rezach; and grandfather of Jayme, Marshall, Tammy, John, Alan, Jackie, Rachele, Kelly, Matt and Marcie.

He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Rezach was a 32nd Degree Mason, Hospital Corpsman of the U.S. Navy (19 years) and the U.S. Marine Corps (3 years) and was an employee of NASA for 10 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy. in LaPlace on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 11 a.m.

Visitation is from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Inurnment is in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell on Monday, Aug. 17.
