Moya Mary Barnes Bowen, 58, passed away on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015.

She was a native of Port Lyautey, Morrocco, and a resident of LaPlace.

She was the beloved wife of Faron Bowen; mother of Christopher P. Faucheux and Candice J. E. Faucheux; step-mother of Major Bowen and Lindsay Bowen Hauge; daughter of the late Anna Sanchez; former Daughter-in-law of Alita and Louis Faucheux; and sister of Anthony Wayne Barnes, Kevin Barnes, Darlene Carrol and the late Donna Maude.

Bowen is also survived by five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving dog, Pearl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, 2806 W. Airline Hwy. in LaPlace, on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 3 to 5 p.m.
