1976 – Marine Air Reserve Sergeant Alvin L. Triche Jr., of LaPlace, loads a case of 50-caliber ammo aboard a Ch-46 helicopter during a training at Naval Air Station, Fallon, Nev. A process operator for Shell Oil Refinery in Norco, in civilian life, Triche has been undergoing training two weeks of active duty training with the squadron in at the desert air station.
