David “Phil” Donaho, 71, passed away Nov. 11, 2015, surrounded by his family.

He was a native of Houston and a resident of Gramercy.

Donaho is survived by his wife of 43 years, Geraldine Martin Donaho; his mother, Wanda Catanzaro; and daughters Karen Vicknair and husband Whitney, Caroline Pinto and Rachel Louque and husband Ryan.

He is also survived by his brother, Edward Catanzaro and wife, Cathy, and a sister, Donna Colwart. Survivors also include grandchildren Emily Courtade, Abigail Vicknair, Whitney Vicknair III, Joshua Tassin, Jacob Pinto, Colin Louque and Trysta Cody, as well as great-grandchildren Braylon Courtade and Clymeth Blankinchip.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Donaho, and stepfather Edward Catanzaro Sr.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran stationed in Longbeach, Calif., and served proudly in Vietnam aboard the USS Valley Forge.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave. in Lutcher from 9 until 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at the funeral home.
