Mederic “Pap” Vicknair Jr. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at the age of 89.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Reserve.

He was the son of the late Mederic Vicknair Sr. and Marie Vicknair; brother of Wilson Vicknair (Loyce), Robert Vicknair (Penny), Ida Wilson (Jerry), the late Josephine Millet, Rodney Vicknair and Nelson Vicknair; and brother-in-law of Maryanna Vicknair and the late Junius Millet, Ruby and Edith Vicknair, John Kugler and Ronald Wilson.

He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy. 44 in Reserve on Monday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will begin in church at 9 a.m. Interment is in St. Peter Cemetery.
