Harry L. Simon, 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, June 13, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of Verlin Louque Simon; five children: David Simon, Gregory Simon, Mark (Lori) Simon, Mona (Danny) Deslatte, and Sandra (Randy) Bossom; seven grandchildren: Jenny S. (Boyd) Weber, Spencer Simon and Kaitlyn Simon, Matthew (Amanda) Deslatte, Megan Deslatte, Kimberlyn Bossom and Christine Bossom; and three great-grandchildren: Brayden and Brynn Weber and Colton Deslatte.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathilde and Sidney Simon, brother Ferdinand Simon and sisters Mildred Sagona, and Ruby Part.

He was a United States Merchant Marine veteran and a Kaiser Aluminum retiree. He loved to shop and eat Chinese food.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 17, 2013, from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery immediately following.
