SCC’s Heaven Mamou earns all-academic honor

Heaven Mamou, a senior at St. Charles Catholic High School, was the only girls basketball player in St. John the Baptist Parish recognized on the all-academic composite team at the LHSAA semifinal game Saturday.
She has maintained a 4.0 for six semesters.
Mamou said her family continuously inspires her, especially her brother, Samuel, and her father, Joseph.
She plans to study pharmacy and chemistry next year at Xavier University.
