Rainbow Chevrolet in LaPlace hosted community members and business professionals Thursday morning during Chamber Perks.

Kent Lomax, fleet manager with Rainbow, and William Paredes, general at Rainbow, informed attendees about the dealership’s expansion efforts, highlighted by a new pre-owned vehicle lot set to open as early as May on Belle Terre Boulevard in the old Whitney Bank location.

Tommy Piglia and Amanda Roussel take in the fun at this week’s Chamber Perks event.

Officials said the lot would promote many entry-level luxury vehicles.

The dealership also celebrated the hire of Tommy Piglia, who joined the LaPlace location four weeks ago as service manager and brings more than 30 years experience.

The body shop will soon be expanding to include two paint booths, and officials stress all makes and models can be attended to in their service and body shops.
