Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States.

This year’s theme was, “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service.”

All Catholic schools observe the annual celebration with events and activities that focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to church, communities and our nation.

The recent celebration kicked off with a parish-wide Mass celebrated at Ascension of Our Lord Church. Other participating schools were St. Peter, Sacred Heart, St. Joan of Arc and St. Charles Catholic High School.
