The donation fosters a partnership between Marathon and the South Central Louisiana Technical College Reserve campus in the support for generating qualified personnel for the future. Tiffany Gaston, human resources consultant, directed the funds be used for academic scholarships, saying they are intended to provide financial assistance to students currently enrolled in the Process Technology Program.

Fourteen of SCLTC’s best and brightest PTEC students, with at least a 3.0 GPA, received the one-time benefit.
