LAPLACE – Two victims sustained non-life threatening injuries during a robbery that took place on Saturday in LaPlace.

St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an apartment on Ryder Court for the report of two subjects being shot. The victims told investigators that the perpetrators entered the apartment and robbed them of cash.

The victims were transported to a New Orleans area hospital where they were treated and released. The investigation is ongoing.
