West St. John dominates Lusher

EDGARD — West St. John rocked the house Thursday evening in New Orleans in a non-conference game against the Lusher Lions, taking home a 52-20 win.

Senior quarterback D’Andre Gaudia was the standout player, passing for five touchdowns with two-point conversions for a total of 40 points. He completed 16 of 25 passes for 342 yards.

By the end of the first quarter, the Rams had taken a 22-0 lead. Junior KaeJean Kindrick shined on the field, catching five passes for 127 yards and two scores. Meanwhile, senior running back D’kyri Jackson rushed 15 times for 142 yards and two touchdowns.

West St. John travels to Plaquemine on Friday night.
