NORCO — “Be Our Guest” is the theme for River Region Ballet’s Fifth Annual Summer Dance Camp, to be held July 22 to July 26 at the River Regional Performing Arts and Cultural Center.

Located at 15146 River Road in Norco, the camp will introduce young dancers ages 4 to 10 to ballet classes, jazz dances, crafts, games and snacks from 8:30 a.m. to noon daily. A Tea Party will be held on Friday.

Older dancers ages 11 and up will learn from two guest choreographers from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, through Thursday the 25th.

Brooke Brady, who recently danced in Katy Perry’s WITNESS: World Tour and with the Jonas Brothers at the Billboard Music Awards, will be teaching contemporary classes.

Mme Peff Modelski, a retired professional ballerina and master teacher from the Visceral in Chicago, will be teaching classical ballet classes.

On Friday, July 26, River Region Ballet will sponsor a 6:30 p.m. Summer Dance Festival at Destrehan High School for all of the dancers to perform their newly learned skills from camp.
