RESERVE — A career in nursing is attainable and within reach at River Parishes Community College Reserve Campus.

A Practical Nursing Informational Meeting will be held at 5 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, July 10) at 181 Regala Park Road in Reserve, offering prospective students a first look at program requirements, financial aid options, student culture, TRIO student support services and much more.

The RPCC’s Practical Nursing is a 16-month program encompassing 58 credit hours, including 1,535 clock hours. The technical diploma will qualify students to take the NCLEX-PN and become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Average class size is 25 to 30 students.
