LAPLACE — John L. Ory Communication Arts Magnet students Adele Cooper, Kayden McGee, Saige Loupe and Lainey Levron placed fifth out of 20 groups at the Beta Convention in Lafayette.

The students choreographed a dance to compete in the Performing Arts category.

Seven golden tickets were handed out that earned recipients a chance to go to the National Beta Convention in Oklahoma City, Okla.

These talented students received four of the seven Golden Tickets.
