Photo feature: Reserve native makes history in Georgia

- Georgia Soil & Water State Supervisors - Rockdale County District were sworn in Jan. 8 by Probate Judge Clarence Cuthpert Jr. The State Supervisors are Kenny A. Johnson, who is the first black man to be sworn in for Rockdale County and a native of Reserve. David Shipp and Russell Tonning were also sworn in. Johnson was joined by his wife, Dr. Shamita Johnson, family, friends and colleagues.
