The Biblical Academy Bible School of Bethlehem and New Pilgrim Baptist Churches, pastored by the Rev. Dr. Forell Bering Sr., will celebrate its second commencement exercise at 4 p.m. Saturday at 107 Pilgrim Drive in Reserve.

The public is invited to share this special occasion with church family. The Rev. Donald Hunter of Baton Rouge is the guest speaker.

108-year anniversary celebration planned Sunday

Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church on River Road in Wallace and Pastor Frank Johnson are celebrating their church’s 108-year anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday.

The guest minister this weekend is Pastor Augustus Brown of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in LaPlace.
