LAPLACE — At the recently held Louisiana Knights of Columbus State Convention, Ascension of Our Lord, Council 9623 received two recruitment awards, one for being tops in Louisiana membership recruitment.

Council 9623 Grand Knight Mike Abbate, pictured, was also awarded the top recruiter in the state for July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

The awards were presented by James F. Riente Jr., state deputy of Knights of Columbus Louisiana State Council.
