Imagine a District 3 where families sleep soundly, knowing their homes are safe from floods. Walter Pilie’ is not just imagining – he’s taking action.

After facing personal loss from severe flooding in his neighborhood in 2020, he channeled his energy into unwavering commitment, to ensure that no family ever has to endure what his did. As a father, grandfather, and engineer, Walter intimately understands the trauma of rebuilding, the value of every moment spent with loved ones, and the technical issues associated with flood mitigation. His tireless dedication has been evident.

Since early 2019, Walter has been involved in initiatives to improve drainage systems, collaborated with engineering professionals and public servants, and provided our community with timely flood mitigation approaches. He’s been our community’s constant voice, championing our concerns in government arenas and ensuring that our calls for safety and infrastructure aren’t just heard but acted upon.

With Walter’s involvement with parish officials, his district will at last benefit from a very important culvert addition project across the CN railroad in the Ormond watershed. This project will soon move forward with the Parish having secured a $6.3 million grant to fund construction.

He knows what it takes to serve his community. Walter stays on top of pressing drainage issues. He collects and analyzes flooding data and keeps the community informed with regular updates.

Walter’s unique blend of professional and personal experience ensures he’s the perfect choice to assure progress and accountability, so that projects are successfully undertaken and completed.

On October 14, Walter humbly seeks your vote, not for personal glory, but to build a District 3 where every child plays safely, every family thrives, and every resident feels secure. With Walter in the Council, we’re not just voting for hope, we’re voting for a proven record of achievement.

Choose Walter Pilie’ for Councilman, District 3. It’s a vote for our collective future – for
