On Saturday, September 24, 2022, at approximately 5:30 pm, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to 12589 Airline Highway in Destrehan (CVS Destrehan) for a report of theft. The caller advised a black male carrying duffel bags stole items from the store and fled on a motorcycle.

Arriving deputies learned a male subject walked into the store with several duffel bags and began filling them with store merchandise. An employee attempted to lock the front entry door, but the male saw them and forced the doors open. While leaving the store, the male dropped a duffel bag that contained various personal hygiene products.
