LAPLACE — On September 1, St. John the Baptist Parish President Jaclyn Hotard, Council, staff and representatives from Principal Engineering and Kass Construction kicked off the Carrollwood Drive Rehabilitation Project with a groundbreaking.

Parish President Hotard expressed her enthusiasm to start the project which will bring significant wastewater and road improvements to the area. “We are excited to get this project going and bring much-needed road improvements on Carrollwood Drive.”

Work is expected to begin Tuesday, September 6, 2022, and will take approximately six months.

During this time, there will be a road closure of thru traffic on Carrollwood with a detour at Fairway Dr. and Madewood Dr. Motorists are asked to please use caution when driving near the project area and follow all detour and road signage.
