Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a reported burglary of the gymnasium under construction. It is believed to have occurred over the weekend. Tools were reported missing.

 

Incident:	Criminal trespassing and theft of a lawnmower
Location:	200 block of Magnolia Avenue in Boutte, LA

Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a reported stolen lawnmower. The homeowner saw a male subject on her carport holding her weed eater. When confronted, he put the weed eater down and fled on foot. She then noticed her red Toro lawnmower was missing.

Location:	200 block of Mockingbird Street in St. Rose, LA

Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to reported identity theft. The victim received a letter from five credit card companies that someone used her social security number for a credit card. The incidents occurred between August 2021 and May 2022.
