TPSO investigating vehicle burglaries; car stolen in Ponchatoula

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a string of vehicle burglaries which resulted in the theft of a vehicle from the Bass Lake Estates Subdivision in Ponchatoula, La during the early morning hours of April 25, 2022.
Video footage captured on a nearby security system shows the suspects vehicle appearing to be a Ford Ranger or similar style pickup. Three subjects are seen exiting the vehicle and walking around the neighborhood pulling on vehicle door handles, attempting to gain entry.
Sometime during the incident, suspects found an unlocked vehicle with a key fob inside, and subsequently stole the vehicle. The stolen vehicle in question is a 2013 Honda Highlander SUV, silver in color, bearing Louisiana license plate 727 FFL. The vehicle has no aftermarket accessories or other distinguishable characteristics.
The video shows the un-edited clip of the vehicle passing in front of the security camera, followed by a close up of the same clip and a third close up of the suspects exiting the vehicle.
