Mitchell, Malik Anthony, 24, Male – 200 Boutte Estates Drive in Boutte, LA

LOCATION: Nelson Coleman Correctional Center DATE: April 28, 2022

CHGS: Traffic, Hit and Run Driving with Serious Injury or Death, 29th JDC Attachment (2 Counts) Sheriff Greg Champagne reports Mitchell was arrested for a warrant on the above mentioned charges. The warrant alleges Mitchell was carelessly operating a dirt bike, hit a subject, and fled the scene. Mitchell was charged accordingly.

Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a reported phone scam. A cashier received several phone calls and text messages requesting her to activate gift cards. The activations failed, and she was requested to make two Bitcoin purchases.

Location: 14000 block of Old Spanish Trail in Boutte, LA

Incident Number: 2202400 Sheriff Greg Champagne reports deputies responded to a report of items missing from a yard. After further investigation, it was learned that a vehicle was also burglarized through an unsecured back window.

The contractor did not complete any work.
