Fordoche – On December 22, 2021, The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations was requested by the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office to investigate a fatal officer involved shooting involving one on their deputies and a Livonia Police Department Officer.

One subject is deceased on the scene. No officers were injured during this incident. The Louisiana State Police Crime Lab will process the scene for all evidence.

This is an active investigation and further information will be released when it becomes available.
