American Legion’s national commander visits Southeast Louisiana

METAIRIE — On Saturday, October 30, American Legion National Commander Paul Dillard of Texas, visited American Legion Post 350 in Metairie. One of his many messages to the Legion is “No Veteran Left Behind.” He also spoke on membership as the backbone of the Legion. His comments were presented at the American Legion 2nd District Conference. American Legion Commander of LaPlace Post 383, Allan Reynaud, was there to explain the result of the recent disaster from Hurricane Ida, and how Legion Members were assisting in the recovery in LaPlace and how they were helping fellow veterans.
