1977- Little Miss Fashionetta ’77 is Clement (second from right) who won the title in the first Little Miss Fashionetta contest, held Sunday, August 28 in the Leon Godchaux High School auditorium. The contest was sponsored by the Ladies of Distinction Civic and Social Club, Brannetter G. James, president. Opel Lennix was first runnerup and Vanessa Braud (picture at right) was second runnerup. Escorts were Allen Lennix Jr. (left), Jeffery Alexander and Wendolyn Davis , who was not present for either picture. Judges were Kimberly Pierce (Ms. Black St. Charles), Olivia French, principal of Garyville Elementary School and Robble Tomeny, a teacher at LGHS.
