1976 – These are some of the participants in the dedication ceremonies held in the Greater New Plymouth Rock Baptist Church, Reserve. The Rev. Ernest Taylor, pastor of the church, the church board of directors and several local dignitaries, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony, officially opening a $40,843 dining room-kitchen and nursery-office complex at the church. A plaque, dedicated to the late Rev. George W. Washington, son of the founder of the church, was unveiled, and the dining room-kitchen complex was named in Rev. Washington’s honor.
