L’OBSERVATEUR has a new online feature called Picture of the day. It may be a photo from the past, something topical or even something interesting. Please feel free to submit photos to diane.browning@lobservateur.com. Please identify the people in the photo from left to right and front to back. Also, if possible, what they are doing.  Include your name and number in case we have any questions.

The picture of day is of St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff-elect Mike Tregre in February 2012. He is visiting West St. John Elementary and spoke to the students about staying on the right path. He spoke about focus and respect in the classroom, using a mix of humor and serious talk to relay his message.
