River Parish Transit Authority Will Provide Transportation for Residents Who Have Scheduled Vaccine Appointments

The River Parish Transit Authority will provide transportation appointments for residents to receive vaccines if a resident has an appointment in St. John Parish at one of the participating vaccine locations.

Residents will need to know approximate wait time and will also need to schedule a ride home with RPTA.

Service within St. John the Baptist and St. Charles Parishes with connecting service to St. James and Jefferson Parishes.

Appointments can be made by calling 985-651-1141 Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Transportation service is provided Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 7:30 pm and Saturday 5:30 am – 7:30 pm. No service on Sundays.

Cost is $2.00/one-way trip. Children 4 and under ride free. Exact fare only.
