Ronald J. Stein, age 79 of Reserve, LA on April 7, 2020 passed away at the Veterans Home in Reserve.  He is the son of the late Michel and Cecile Stein.

 

Beloved husband of Janice Vicknair Stein.  Loving father of Timothy Stein, Chad Stein, Bonnie Stein (Stephen) and the late Pamela and Yvonne who died shortly after birth.  Grandfather of Dylan and Alexis Falgoust.  Brother of the late Gloria Stein Aucoin (Charles), Marilyn Johnson (Harold) and Danny Stein (Mary).

Along with his friend Melvin, they had a passion for birding and belonged to the Louisiana Ornithological Society and Audubon Bird Club.  They studied with expert, Nancy Newfield, who bands hummingbirds.   They also did many bird counts including the Christmas Bird Counts.

Ronald devoted many years in assisting the priest in preparing for masses at St. Peter Catholic Church.  He will be sadly missed but the Lord has taken him home.
