Julie Kilburn DeRoche passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019, at the age of 86.

She was a native of Convent and a resident of River Ridge.

She was the beloved wife of the late Roy J. DeRoche; loving mother of Roy “Rusty” DeRoche Jr. and Eric DeRoche (Kellie); grandmother of Eric DeRoche Jr. (Meghan), Roy “Trey” DeRoche III (Dakotah) and Cori DeRoche-Martin; great grandmother of Mason, Milly and Mary Martin, Parker, Peyton, Lucy, Eloise and Dorothy DeRoche; daughter of the late Sidney J. Kilburn and Eva Garcia Kilburn; and sister of the late Sidney J. Kilburn Jr., Farrell Kilburn, Samuel Kilburn, Stanley Kilburn, Leroy Kilburn and Eva Mae Kilburn Casey.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service.

Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 14 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road in Destrehan on, followed by the Mass at noon.

Burial is in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
