LAPLACE — The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced Friday morning that Interstate 10 ramp closures planned to begin Sunday in LaPlace have been delayed a week.

The transportation department said the work is necessary for asphalt overlay.

Closures for the I-10 westbound off ramp to Belle Terre Boulevard (Louisiana 3188) and westbound on ramp from Belle Terre Boulevard (Louisiana 3188) to I-10 west bound are now scheduled from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. March 18 and 19.

Closures for the I-10 eastbound off ramp to Belle Terre Boulevard (Louisiana 3188) and eastbound on ramp from Belle Terre Boulevard (Louisiana 3188) to I-10 east bound are now scheduled from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. March 20-22.
