There’s been a lot of “stuff” we’ve all had to deal with, aside from growing business! The Chamber supported the recent request from the St. John Public school system for its upcoming Millage renewal.

We also support Constitutional Amendment #1.

We are looking for additional business professionals with an interest to improve our region and communities. As the Board gets ready for its annual retreat to set goals for the new year, we will need energetic, positive and talented professionals at the table.

What’s happening on the Business Development front?

We are offering a combination of “lunch n learns” and networking events. Being a membership organization, we take the needs of the members and build sessions around those needs.

• Oct. 12: Network Like a Champ, 11:30 a.m. at Belle Terre Country Club

• Oct. 26: Navigating the Healthcare Rollercoaster, 11:30 a.m. at Belle Terre Country Club

• Nov. 9: Holiday kickoff “Festive Fete” at 5:30 p.m. at Fireman’s Federal Credit Union
