Holidays are a time for family and friends.

At South Central Louisiana Technical College we understand life is busy and everything is important.

Taking the time to learn new skills or improve those you already have can be a hard decision when trying to balance work and family. South Central programs are the best in our area for two important reasons. Students at South Central Louisiana Technical College learn their chosen skills with actual “hands on learning,” as well as class room instruction, including internships and work study programs.

South Central students work in their field after completion. We have placement rates that are outstanding with local employers.

South Central students are well prepared to enter the work force in their fields of study. With additional General Education courses and Job Skills, we produce a well-rounded and well trained employee.

Students enter the work force from graduation and go on to enjoy successful careers in their chosen field.

At South Central we understand the critical importance of balancing all of life’s other responsibilities while furthering your education. Our faculty and staff understand most adults have to work and have family responsibilities.

We want to make it possible for you to have it all. We have many options that will make it easier to have that balance in your life.

With most of our programs we have both day and night classes available. There are online options that students can complete at home.

We have hybrid classes that only meet a few times each semester. Currently, 50 percent of our Process Technician program is on line.

Our Associates Degree in General Business Office is now available 100 percent online. Our Associates of Applied Science degree programs can be completed in only 18 months. Previous college credits are often transferable and can be applied directly to your program.

Beginning in January of 2016, with our Spring semester, we will be offering our new Scholars Academy. This special cohort will offer additional tutoring and mentoring for students who need a little extra assistance.

South Central Louisiana Technical College offers a Work Ready U (Formerly GED) solution as well. This program has both day and night classes to work around your work and family schedule.

With both classroom and one-on-one attention, you could obtain your High School Equivalency in a short time. There are opportunities to even begin your college program while finishing your High School Equivalency. Ask us about Accelerated Opportunities.

This year give yourself and your family a special gift.

The gift of education, the gift that will continue to enhance and improve the rest of your life — the gift that never breaks, never goes out of style.

It’s a gift that you can hand down to your children. The gift gives back not only to you but to the entire community. The gift of Education is the gift of a life time.

From all the Staff and Faculty of your Reserve Campus South Central Louisiana Technical College wishes you all a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
