The firefighters spoke to the children about fire safety and family fire escape plans.

They also reviewed the “Stop, Drop, and Roll” procedure that should be used in case clothing catches on fire.

Then the students took a tour of two fire trucks, focusing on the equipment aboard each.

They even had the chance to climb in one of the trucks.

One of the highlights was when the trucks left because the firefighters set off their sirens to say goodbye.

Firefighters Evan Satterlee, E.J. Definer and Doug Brasington helped with the presentation.
