QB clubs meet Sept. 8

Riverside Academy

Riverside Academy’s Quarterback Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Jacques Doucet will speak to the crowd.

Doucet is WAFB—Baton Rouge’s sports anchor who co-hosts “Sportsline Friday Nite”, a south Louisiana weekly football round-up.

The Quarterback Club meets in the Riverside Academy cafeteria at 332 Railroad Ave. in Reserve.

Dinner will be served for $6 per plate. Open to general public.

St. Charles Catholic

St. Charles Catholic’ quarterback Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday

Charlie Baglio, the LSU athletics department director of external relations for the Tiger football team, will be the guest speaker

The event will also feature a preview of the Comets upcoming game and analysis of the team’s last game. Coaching staff will be on hand to answer questions.

Dinner is $5 and a 50/50 raffle will be held. Open to general public.
