- Beasmaw Cafe, located at 1400 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace, held a grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony May 9 with owners David and Shirley Webre surrounded by parish leaders, family, friends and supporters. The restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Call 985-359-6120 for more information. Breakfast is served from 6 to 10:30 a.m. The menu consists of poboys, sandwiches, wraps, soup, salads, seafood platters and daily lunch specials.
