American Legion Post 383 of LaPlace established a Post Ladies Auxiliary.

Led by newly elected Madam President Cheryl Gansemer and sworn in by Department Vice President Juliana Robertson Jan. 7, 18 members were chartered to provide support for the Legion Post in LaPlace.

Inspirational speeches were given by Department Commander Billy Ray Foley and Post Commander Dave Gatt.
