BOUTTE- A Boutte man has been charged with attempted second-degree murder following an altercation with a Marrero man.

Chris A. LaRousse, 25, of 428 Sharon St., Boutte, was arrested and charged on October 8 with attempted second-degree murder after he was involved in an altercation with a 40 year-old Marrero man.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, LaRousse fired one shot from a shotgun towards the victim’s vehicle. The victim suffered injuries to his face and arm. The victim was transported to Elmwood Medical Center for his injuries.
