EDGARD – Eloise &#8220Dale” Jarrow Farnell, 78, a native and resident of Edgard, died Dec. 8. She was the wife of the late Lucien Farnell Sr.

She is survived by her children Kenneth, Vernon Sr., Valerie, Kirk, Edward James, Mary and Wayne Farnell and Latesa Gullage.

She is also survived by her siblings Cecelia Bailey, Thelma Lumar, Hubert Jarrow and Fabiola Sutton, 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three daughter-in-laws and a son-in-law.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Naomi Songy Jarrow, children Lucien Jr., Alfred, Charles, Elliot and Monya Farnell and siblings Selma Pierre, Gilbert, Peter, George and Bernard Jarrow.

Services were held Dec. 16 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment in the church cemetery.

FLEMING

GARYVILLE – Ernest Fleming Sr., 79, a native and resident of Garyville, died Dec. 14. He was the husband of Valenteen Jackson Fleming.

He is survived by his children Ernest Jr., Ervin, Ora Mae, Eliza, Donald Paul, Rudolph Fleming, Diane Berry, Dora Jean Robertson, Beatrice Johnson and Rita Mae Miles.

He is also survived by his siblings Huey P. Fleming, Melvin Williams and Clarence Brown Sr., grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Zion Travelers Baptist Church, LaPlace, with interment in the church cemetery.

JASMIN

VACHERIE – Timothy Carl Jasmin, 42, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Dec. 10. He was the son of Ida Bazile Jasmin and the late Joseph Jasmin Sr.

He is survived by his children Timothy Jr., Davarin, Kreshell and Brielle.

He is also survived by his siblings Adrianne Octave, Lester, Charles (Ispy), Anthony, Patrick, Terrence, Michael (Fiya), Marvin (dozzo), Rev. James Jasmin and Julian Jasmin, friend Mac Morgan and fiancé Deannien Frazier.

He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Michael Jasmin Jr., grandparents Philogene, Virginia Jasmin, Joseph and Puliska Bazile.

Services were held Dec. 16 at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, with interment in the church cemetery.

PRIESTLEY

VACHERIE – Shirley Weber Priestley, 77, a native of Vacherie and a resident of New Orleans, died Dec. 9. She was the wife of the late Joseph Milton Priestley Jr.

She is survived by her children Vanus Priestley Sr., Jennifer P. Fernandez and Laverne B. Fleming.

She is also survived by son and daughter-in-laws Carlos Fernandez, Elwood Fleming, Elaine Priestley and Ruth Mesker, sister and brother-in-laws Odessa S. Weber, Patricia S. Weber, Bernard Adams and Tonita Ricard, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Randolph and Josephine Ambrose Weber, son Wayne David Priestly, siblings Paul, August, Adam, Harold Weber, Lucille Bell, Cora Oubre and Pamela Adams and brother and sister-in-laws Elliott Bell, John Oubre Sr., Lawrence Priestley, Mercedes, Eloise Weber and Evalina Priestley.

Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at St. Phillip Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment in the church cemetery.

TROXLER

HAHNVILLE – Eunice Marie Troxler, a resident of Hahnville, died Dec. 14. She was the daughter of the late Luke and Edna Troxler.

She is survived my her sister Mildred Hymel.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews LeDaine Hymel, Nelwyn Lorio, Derrill Troxler, Danny Lee Troxler and Vanessa Troxler.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Derrill and Russell Troxler.

Services were held Dec. 16 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment in Holy Rosary Mausoleum, Taft.

VEAL

RESERVE – Miriam Smith Veal, 25 and son Dorian A. Veal, 11 months, natives of Reserve and a residents of New Orleans, died Dec. 6.

They were the wife and son of William P. Veal.

They are survived by a child and brother Kaybien M. Picou.

She is survived by her parents Dr. Rev. Joseph Sr. and Jessie Mae Smith, siblings Dimirtia R. Bethancourt, Zima S. McGee, Joseph Jr., Parnell and Kevin Smith, grandparents Robert, Rose Lee and Rozlia Smith, James and Edna Williams, Joseph Warner, Millie Carter and George Veal.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at New Rescue Mission Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment in St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery, LaPlace.

WISHAM

RESERVE – Ralph &#8220Ralphee” Wisham, 57, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Reserve, died Dec. 8. He was the son of the late Mable and River Wisham.

He is survived by his daughter Merina Dee Wisham.

He is also survived by his siblings Carolyn Mason, Eloise Sanders and Eula Mae Green, grandchildren Darius Thomas, Danae and Ja’Quan Wilson, aunts Marjorie Bardell and Anna Spann and Uncle Johnny Wisham.

Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Mileville Memorial Church of God in Christ, LaPlace, with interment in St. John Memorial Garden, LaPlace.

WOLFE

LAPLACE – Henry Peter Wolfe Sr., 88, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Dec. 13. He was the husband of the late Lithia Etienne Wolfe.

He is survived by his children Gwendolyn W. Hall, Richard Dale Wolfe and Rev. Henry Wolfe Jr.

He is also survived by his siblings Rita Williams and Alvin Lewis, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and eight great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Martha Wolfe Lewis and siblings Joseph Lewis, William Wolfe, Mildred Thomas, Marion Wallace, Albertine Tyree, Lydia Winchester and Dorothy Thomas.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
