DIGGS LUTCHER – Alice Long Diggs, 67, a native and resident of Lutcher, died April 12. She was the wife of Leroy Diggs Sr. and mother of Clara Mae Scott, MaryDiggs, Lois Morgan, Donna Miller, Denise Bowers, Demetra Butler and Leroy Jr. and Michael Diggs.She was also the daughter of the late Samson Long Sr. and Mayola Luke Longand sister of Rosilene Hogan, Doris Steib and Gillard Sr., Alton Sr., Joseph Sr.and the late Samson Long Jr.

She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church, Lutcher, withinterment at Western Cemetery, Lutcher. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m.

FRAHM MONTZ – Steven Robert Frahm, 36, native of Woodbury, N.J. and resident ofMontz, died April 11. He was the husband of Bridget Rome Frahm and fatherof Ashlyn Renee Frahm.

He was also the son of William “Bill and Margaret Frahm and brother of William and Kenneth Frahm.

He is survived by one grandson.

Services were April 14 at the chapel of Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula.

KELLER NEW ORLEANS – Jeanette Rita Friloux Keller, 73, a native of New Sarpy and a resident of Nine Mile Point for the past 25 years, died April 12. She was thewife of the late Donald R. Keller and mother of Glenn Shugart and Donnie,Wayne and Keith Keller.

She was also the daughter of the late Leon P. “Bud” and Delores Friloux andsister of Floyd Friloux Sr.

She is survived by nine grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Chrles Borromeo Catholic Church,Destrehan, with entombment at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. Visitationbegins at 8 a.m.

LABAT VACHERIE – Edward B. Labat, 82, native and resident of Vacherie, died April11. He was the husband of Cecile Ocmond Labat and father of Rev. ThomasLabat Sr.

He was also the son of the late Louis and Anita Labat and brother of Daisy Falgoust, Aline Folse, Nelson and Edmond Labat, Ella Buquoi and the late Willie Labat and Marie Schexnayder.

He was also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Heis preceded in death by one grandchild.

Services were April 14 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Vacherie, with entombment at the church mausoleum.

LANDREAUX LAPLACE – Roberta Bache Landreaux, 62, native of New Orleans and resident of LaPlace for the past 23 years, died April 10. She was the wife of the lateEarl D. Landreaux Sr. and mother of Earl Jr. and Christopher Landreaux.She was the daughter of Robert Bache Sr. and the late Grace Bache andsister of Robert Bache Jr. and Beverly Pizzatola.She is also survived by one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.

Services were held April 13 at Millet Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Destrehan.

ROUSSEAU CHALMETTE – Edwin “Dump-Turtle” Rousseau Sr., 88, native of Luling andresident of New Orleans and St. Rose for the past 48 years, died April 6. Hewas the father of Frank and Jerome Benoit, Elmo Carter and Cynthia Rousseau.

He was also the brother of Marie Rousseau and Francis Sessoms.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were held April 13 at Louisiana Undertaking Co., New Orleans, withinterment at Providence Memorial Park.

WILLIAMS THIBODAUX – Keith Anthony Williams, 40, native and resident of Vacherie, died April 7. He was the husband of Mary Favorite Williams and father ofKellie, Ashley and Aaron Williams.

He was also the son of Margaret and Junious Williams and brother of Myra Jones and Barry, Glen, Darren and Gerard Williams.

He is also survived by one grandchild.

Services are today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church,Vacherie, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation begins at 8 a.m.
