LAPLACE — Wireless Zone of LaPlace is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign by placing a collection bin in the store during the upcoming holiday season.

The Toys for Tots campaign delivers new toys during Christmas to less fortunate children in every community it serves.

Toys can be dropped off at the Wireless Zone, 901 W. Airline Highway, Suite F in LaPlace until Dec. 17.

“The Toys for Tots campaign does such amazing work each holiday season, and we’re proud to partner with such an    organization so we can do even more to help those in need in the communities we serve,” said Joe Johnson, president and COO of Wireless Zone. “We encourage all of our customers to bring a donation with them on their next visit to their local Wireless Zone.”

In 2014, Toys for Tots distributed more than 17 million toys to more than 7 million less fortunate children. In addition, the organization collected more than $284 million in charitable donations, by far the most ever raised in a single year.
