Gramercy Elementary School held its fourth annual Gator Gala at the Lutcher High School auditorium. For this year’s theme, they chose to cruise through the states to highlight the fun and excitement of the cities across the country through song, dance and costume.
2012 King Gator III Kobren Lee and Queen Gator III Beyonce’ Gordon were presented. King Lee is the son of Senecca Boudreaux and Chad Lee. Queen Gordon is the daughter of Tanyna and Burnell Gordon.  
2013 Gator Gala Court members are as follows:
Representing the state of New York were Duke Joshua Taylor and Maid Kharis Taylor.  Joshua, a sixth-grade student, and Kharis, a fourth-grade student, are the children of  Paul and Angela Taylor.
Representing the state of Tennessee were Duke Joshua Poché and Maid Raina Valdez. Poché and Valdez are both third-grade students. Poché is the son of Keith and Celeste Poché. Valdez is the daughter of Robert and Leah Valdez.
Representing the state of Florida were Duke Chaz Nailor and Maid Akira Youngblood. Both students are sixth-graders. Nailor is the son of Charles Nailor and Melissa Aubert. Youngblood is the daughter of Tremeka Youngblood and Quintrell Scott.
Representing the state of Alaska was Maid Elizabeth Coneglio. Coneglio, a sixth-grader, is the daughter of Karl and Steffani Coneglio.
Representing the state of Louisiana were Duke Eli Roussel and Maid Layla Daley, both first-graders. Roussel is the son of Kent and Laurie Roussel. Daley is the daughter of Chris Daley and Holly Daley.
The 2013 Gator Gala King was his majesty King Gator the IV, Andrew Kraemer. Kraemer, a second-grader, is the son of Eddie and Jenny Kraemer.
The 2013 Gator Gala Queen was her majesty queen gator the IV, Alyssa Brazan. Brazan, a second grader, is the daughter of Jeremy and Holly Brazan.
After presenting the 2013 Gator Gala court, GES/GEMS students entertained the court and the audience with 18 performances as they were “Cruisin’ the States.”
The Grand March of the 2013 Gator Gala Court ended this portion of the night. Court members and their invited guests then danced the night away as they were entertained by the live band, “Knew Identity.”
