Juvenile Apprehended in Norco Crime Spree

LULING, La. — A 14-year-old male from New Orleans has been apprehended by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office for his alleged involvement in a series of criminal activities in Norco, occurring in the late hours of February 20, 2024.

Authorities were alerted to multiple incidents including two vehicle thefts reported on the 500 block of Giacomo Street, with both vehicles later found in New Orleans. Additional reports involved unauthorized entries and ransacking of vehicles on Giacomo Street, Fourth Street, Spruce Street, and Pine Street, with losses ranging from personal items to electronic devices.

Investigators linked the crimes to a black four-door sedan, later identified as stolen and recovered in Norco. The juvenile was arrested following evidence collection and is currently facing charges for the aforementioned incidents.
