HAHNVILLE, La. – Barber Road in Paradis will experience a temporary closure for essential construction work, according to St. Charles Parish officials.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, Barber Road will be shut down in both directions between Cadow St. and Kirk Dr. This closure is necessary for the installation of sheet pilings by Command Construction, the contracted firm overseeing the project.

Residents affected by the closure are advised to utilize alternative routes such as LA 306 or US Highway 90 to access the neighborhood during this period. Command Construction has provided an estimated timeline, anticipating the reopening of the road to traffic by 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
