Beginning at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, Jan. 17, there will be a scheduled water outage for Reserve, Garyville and Mt. Airy, due to the recent hard freeze. The scheduled outage for Reserve, Garyville & Mt. Airy is estimated for 6 hours and will help the water system rebuild capacity.

Reserve, Garyville & Mt. Airy are also under a Boil Water Advisory (BWA) until further notice. This area should bring water to a rolling boil before consuming until notified of the BWA lift.

Residents Parishwide should continue to conserve water by turning off running faucets and only using water for emergencies.

The National Weather Service advises that there will not be a freeze in the area tonight, therefore running water is not necessary.
