Carol Sue Snider LeBlanc, a devout Catholic and loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the age of 79. She was a native of Norco, LA and a resident of LaPlace, LA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Stephen LeBlanc Sr., and her children Stephen Jr. “Monkey” and Timothy (Angie). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather LeBlanc (Adam), Stephanie Schindler (Brian), Chelsea Crocker (Jake), Brandon LeBlanc, and Nicholas LeBlanc; great-grandchildren, Laynie Hebert and Theo Crocker; sisters, Sharon Nunez (Harry) and Mary Beth Snider; brother-in-law, Gerald Stockton, sister-in-law, Helen LeBlanc, and her dear childhood friend, Eileen Faucheaux.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Numa and Billie B Champagne Snider, in-laws, Roy and Mildred LeBlanc, sister, Linda Stockton and brother-in-law, Roy LeBlanc, Jr.

Sue loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid golfer and a member of Riverlands Country Club for many years.  Some of her best memories were riding in the yellow golf cart and spending time with her golfing friends. She also enjoyed making quilts which she lovingly made for all her family. Sue was a volunteer and Eucharistic Minister at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held at Millet Guidry Funeral Home on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Visitation will resume at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace, LA on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 10:00 am until noon, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery in Destrehan, LA.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during the 4½ years of Sue’s battle with pancreatic cancer. A special thank you to Fr. David Ducote for always coming by whenever called upon.

In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
