Mary E. Scurlock, age 86, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024.  She was born to the late Evaste and Paul McGee of Mamou, Louisiana on January 30, 1938. Mary loved her garden and flowers.  She was a wonderful cook and had many great friends in Reserve, Louisiana. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved spending time with them making lasting memories that the family will cherish forever.  Mary was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who is already missed dearly.

Mary is survived by her brother Lionel McGee, her son Gary Scurlock and his wife Linda McVicker, daughter Lori Ann Roussel, and daughter Stefanie Willard; grandchildren Kayla Stover, Alexandra Scurlock, Jamie Scurlock, Jackie Smith and her husband Kenny Smith, and Brittany Lilly as well as her great-grandchildren, Haden, Jaycee, Dane, Kalie, Kaitlynn.

Visitation will be held on January 13, 2024, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 716 6^th Street, Mamou Louisiana 70554 from 10-11 am. Catholic Mass at 11 am and burial to follow at Reed Cemetery, 2112-2118 L’Anse Meg Road, Mamou, LA 70554.
